New Courses for 2023 

We are really excited to bring back live face to face teaching having run our 1st successful hybrid course in November 2022 where we had great feedback on our new Hybrid Introduction to Female Pelvic Health with Lisa Hastie.Here are some super live courses we are running in early 2023 in our Birmingham Clinic. Details of some others on our website also. We are also back in Dublin in July 2023.

What will Gerard cover on his Cork  Course: 

  • We will focus and specialise on using external techniques in male pelvic floor assessment and treatment
  • Perineal Assessment and Treatment
  • External Examination of the male pelvic floor
  • Male Pelvic Floor anatomy , function and dysfunction
  • Developing detailed history taking skills with these complex conditions.
  • Exploring the complex psychological, emotional, congnitive, social & behavioural aspects of the conditions these men present with.

  • Detailed external Examination of the male perineal area
  • Assessment & Management of Male Pelvic Pain
  • Role of Musculoskeletal & exercise based physiotherapy in the male pelvic pain patient to include athletic pelvic pain. Bridging the MSk & pelvic health gap
  • Role of ultrasound scanning ( looking inside but staying outside )
  • Management of urinary incontinence in prostate cancer surgery
  • Post prostatectomy erectile dysfunction

  • How do develop a Men’s Health Physiotherapy service & role : An expanding role for Physiotherapists
