This innovative one day clinical course is ideal for physiotherapists with an interest in Women’s and Men’s Health wanting to refresh, update or develop their Ultrasound imaging skills.

On completion of the course participants will:

• Have experience in using real time ultrasound imaging of the pelvic floor, pelvic organs and lumbo-pelvic cylinder in both men and women
• Understand how ultrasound imaging can facilitate diagnosis of specific PF dysfunction
• Develop Ultrasound skills to assess PFM function, and external manual therapy techniques to treat pelvic floor muscle imbalance, over and under activity
• Explore measurement of the width/depth of Rectus Diastasis and strategies to change the stiffness, improve the tension of the midline structures
• Use Ultrasound imaging as biofeedback for PFM rehabilitation in male and female patients
