OMG Our new clinic in Kings Heath Birmingham is open
OMG, Our new clinic in Kings Heath Bham is open

Yes our new clinic is open in the stunning and beautiful new Barefoot yoga studio, Kings Heath

We have had several offers to open a second clinic in the city but have held back until we found the best location in the best place.

The new yoga studio is a cool relaxing venue , just off the high street so bang in the middle of the Kings Heath buzz and next to Gorilla Coffee, probably one of Birmingham's best and most funky coffee shops and also a community hub for the area.

What will we focus on , we have forged a reputation in our Harborne Mother ship clinic of not being afraid to be creative and different and have built one of the UK's only clinics to have 5 pregnancy, Post natal & Women's health physios, 2 men's health physios, a kids bowel and bladder physio not to mention some of the UK's leading Musculoskeletal and sports physios. With fully booked clinics 6 days a week , 60 + 5 star google reviews and tonnes of facebook reviews we have built a loyal and supportive community around our clinic. We are looking forward to doing the same in Kings Heath.

Check out our HS2 Kings Heath clinic on the web link below and let us help you , your friend or loved one get back to living.

Yoga for Physiotherapists & Health Professionals: 21/22nd September 2019 West Midlands , UK

Saturday 21st September 2019 - Sunday 22nd September 2019

This updated  two day yoga course will enable participants to use yoga therapeutically as a treatment and rehabilitation tool  with their patients through :

  • Understanding the many different styles of yoga so you can safely recommend classes for your patients/clients
  • Developing your skills through practicing the key elements of yoga that work well with physiotherapy so you can use them personally and professionally : (asana- physical practice/ breath control/mindfulness/meditation)
  • Exploring what the postures ‘do’ in terms of alignment and movement function, and how they may ‘feel’ for patients/clients
  • Review the latest evidence for using yoga as part of a patient’s treatment and management.
  • Practice and learn some proven yoga sequences - including breath work and mindfulness  -to use with patients on a one-to-one and small group basis. (Learn how to adapt these to use with patients with a wide variety of conditions)
  • Bring this all together to develop a clinically based approach to including yoga as part of a treatment plan both individually and as part of a class, e.g lower back pain.

This Course is taught by Sarah Marsh BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, MCSP, a highly experienced Yoga practitioner and Physiotherapist.
