An Introduction to Pregnancy and Post Natal Physio (Sponsers Kegel8) (March 2018)

This new  two day course sponsered by Kegel8  is designed for both Musculoskeletal, Sports  and Women’s health Physios, Chiros, Osteopaths and Sports Therapists who want to learn more about  the assessment , treatment and management of pregnancy related conditions.

 

Participants  on this Course will cover:

  • Assessment of the Pregnant Patient for common conditions 
  • Pelvic Girdle Pain: Effective ways of reducing pain and increasing function
  • Using Dynamic Taping in the Ante and Post Natal periods 
  • External assessment of the Pelvic floor 
  • Assessing and treating Urinary incontinence, constipation, Pelvic and low back pain
  • Getting confident about discussing the effects of pregnancy on sexual activity
  • Breath control and why it's so important 
  • Rectus Diastasis: What's the most effective way to treat this 
  • Using Ultrasound imaging in the assessment and treatment of Rectus diastasis and abdominal, breath rehab
  • Using trans abdominal Ultrasound Imaging in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Safe return to sport post natally
  • What advice can we give on nutrition
